Veterank is the search engine for US active duty military, veterans, and spouses.

The search engine is just as good as Google (dare we say better) but instead of assuming you're one in 8 billion, we know you have specific eligibilities, and capabilities.

First and foremost, we realize that veterans and servicemembers need all the same information and services as civilians. Therefore our search engine contains all of the websites you might want to see! You are not on an island or bubble just because you get a few more relevant results for you.

Customization 1: Discount Rankings
There are many businesses that want to "give back" or "look altruistic" in the form of discounts. Whether you're someone who regularly seeks out discounts or not, this search engine makes it convenient to save a very large sum of money.

Example: You're searching for home improvement stores. Rather than just get whoever happens to show up first in Google, we boost the results that have military discount language on their site.

Some veterans might say something like "I didn't serve as long or sacrifice as much as others, so I don't deserve the same discounts" but truth is, these companies are offering these discounts because they want you to use them. You're not "taking" anything by using discounts, but simply conducting a free exchange that benefits both parties.

Customization 2: Discount Labels

We already have a large database of companies offering military discounts, and for those who we have details on, we'll highlight their search results and give you discount amounts, and instructions on how to claim the discount if we have it. It'll be quite clear which companies offer discounts and which don't. So even if our ranking boosts aren't enough to push something with a discount into that first position, you'll clearly see which result on the page does offer discounts (that we have personally verified).

Customization 3: Benefits
This page isn't a great place to list out all the benefits veterans have been granted, but we specifically take these benefits and providers into account into our rankings. For example, if you're searching for a mortgage we may prioritize top providers for the VA Home Loan benefit. If you're searching for a college-related information we might highlight information and providers surrounding the GI Bill.

Customization 4: Tools and Calculators
As time goes on, all the virtual tools and destinations you need can be baked straight into our search results. We're not going to skimp on tools you expect from Google, but will add in great ones as well specifically for veterans and active duty.

This isn't a customization per say, but a fact about who we are. This search engine is made in America, built with the core values of free speech and hard work, and made by people who have served veterans for a very long time.
